Hello 2011!! There were tons of awesome products i came across in 2010 but only a few that made me go 'Wow'. Here are a few of my favourites that i will definitely be carrying through to 2011 and beyond!
a) ELF Brushes ($1 - $3) How can you go wrong with $3 brushes? I was skeptical at the quality but these became one of my best purchases of 2010. Non-shedding, lightweight, and SUPER-DURABLE. The eye brushes are the best. I have all sorts of high-end brushes and these work just the same if not better. AMAZING.
b) Annabelle Smudgeliner - Oh My Goth. ($8.95 Cdn) Glides on effortlessly and has great lasting power. Similar to Aqua Eyes and MAC Eyeliner. The sponge tip is great for smudging and those days when you want to 'smoke' up your eyes.
c) Vaseline ($3.95 Cdn) My skin got SO patchy dry and SCRATCHY itchy this winter, I resorted to applying Vaseline to my skin and it worked! It was a fabulous remedy for my skin…. I wouldn’t use it for everyday just for those days when my skin was extremely parched :S
d) Makeup Forever Aqua Creams ($25 Cdn) love that this has multiple uses - apply to your cheek as a cream blush, on your lips as a lip stain, or your eyes as a coloured base! Very strong pigment, so you only need a little to go a long way. Applies wet and dries completely matte.
e) Chanel Hydramax Face Cream ($75 Cdn) FANTASTIC MOISTURIZER. Lightweight with a fresh scent that reminds me pears :) Gives me the moisture that i need (see Point c) while not making my face feel heavy or greasy. A bit pricey, but every time I apply this cream i feel a little touch of luxury like the 'Just left the spa' feeling! SWOOON :)
Have you tried any of these products? What are your faves from 2010?
