PRODUCT REVIEW: OPI "Do You Lilac It?"

OPI “Do You Lilac It?”($9.95 CDN) is part of OPI “Brights” Collection and is a grey cool-toned non-shimmer purple. The creamy finish polish is absolutely gorgeous from the first coat. Because I like to keep my nails short, i almost never wear nail polish.  What i especially love about this colour is it doesn't accentuate the smaller nail size!

OPI always applies amazing with a glossy finish. One coat gives pretty good coverage, but I like to go for two coats to get the ideal colour. You almost don’t need top coat but I applied one anyway for maximum shine and to avoid chipping as much as possible.  Don’t be fooled by the collection’s name “Brights”, “Do You Lilac It’ is a soft lavender hue with the perfect blend of fun colour and sophisticated elegance. In direct sunlight, the colour comes off grey-purple. With indoor lighting, the colour is pastel-purple. As with most OPI polishes, the end result is strong pigment, opaque and smooth.
